What type of illnesses do the house call doctors treat?
Most illnesses that can be treated in the doctor's office can be treated at your hotel, home or work site. This ranges from the common cold and influenza to the repair of minor lacerations. If you have a question as to whether an illness can be treated at home, please call one of our 24 hour medical coordinators to inquire. If further diagnostic testing is required, this can be arranged at nearby facilities.
How long will it take for the doctor to visit me?
The doctor can usually arrive at your home, office or work place within one hour. You will be advised of the anticipated arrival time by our medical coordinator.
If I request a physician telephone consult, how long will it take for the doctor to call?
The doctor will be contacted and return your call with in minutes. If after speaking to the Doctor a house call visit is agreed upon, the telephone consultation fee will be credited towards the cost of the house call visit.
What is the cost of a house call visit or physician telephone consult?
House call visit fees range from $300.00 to $500.00. Physician telephone consults are $50.00. The $50.00 fee is credited toward the cost of a house call visit should one be required. If medications or supplies are dispensed additional fees apply.
Are your services covered by insurance?
Although we require payment at the time of visit, our services are covered by most national and international insurance plans. We are happy to assist you in completing the appropriate forms so that you may be reimbursed for our services.
